Cancer Screening Preregistration

Cancer Screening Preregistration

Power is Prevention.

Free cancer screenings and education program.

Screening increases the chances of detecting certain cancers early, when they are most likely still curable. Some screenings can help prevent the disease altogether if precancerous lesions are found and treated before they become cancerous.
The Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute has developed a Free Cancer Screening and Education Program held at our various facilities throughout 2015. Our medical staff will provide free cancer screenings for:
  • Breast
  • Cervical
  • Colorectal
  • Neck and throat
  • Lung
  • Prostate
  • Skin
  • Testicular
  • We will also provide screenings for Hepatitis C and HIV.
In addition, cancer specialists will provide Genetic Cancer Risk Assessments, answer your questions, and provide educational materials related to cancer prevention and treatment.
Registration prior to the event is required as space is limited.
This event is free, however, additional testing of any abnormal findings require billing to your health insurance provider. Please bring your health insurance cards and photo identification to the event.
Each event will allow participants the opportunity to donate blood to the Pittsburgh Blood Bank. You can also participate in Be-The-Match, a program that helps to identify a potential match for patients requiring a life-saving bone marrow transplant for treatment of their cancer.
To register for a Free Cancer Screening event near you:
