A Prospective Comparison of the Edwards Lifesciences ClearSight Finger Cuff System for hemodynamic monitoring with standard of care (SOC) vital signs charting in LVAD patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery

Purpose: 

The primary purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness and accuracy of the of the ClearSight finger cuff system with current standard of care methods for measuring blood pressure in LVAD patients undergoing a non-cardiac procedure

Inclusion Criteria:

Males or Females 18 - 89 of age.

Must have an implanted LVAD (left ventricular assist device) including HeartWare, HM2, HM3.

Subjects must be able to read and understand English and be able to consent for themselves.

The procedure/surgery must be non-cardiac (e.g., GI studies, hernia repair, hemodialysis fistula placement).

Exclusion Criteria:

Subjects < 18 years of age. 

Patient is on ECMO.

Patient has severe peripheral vascular disease affecting the limb for monitoring.

Patient is unable to read and understand English a
