Family Medicine Residency Opportunity

The rotating Osteopathic Internship at Saint Vincent Hospital is associated with our well–established ACGME–accredited Family Practice Residency Program and takes advantage of its multiple educational resources and expert faculty.

The curriculum for the Rotating Osteopathic intern is designed to fulfill the requirements for PGY1 for the Family Practice Residency Program. Successful graduates of the internship are eligible to attain PGY2 status in the Family Practice Residency Program. Graduates of the residency program can sit for boards sponsored by the American Board of Family Medicine.

The residency program’s Family Medicine Center and Elk Valley Medical Center offer a large patient base for training experiences. Our faculty members are nationally recognized and include experts in academics, pediatrics, sports medicine, obstetrics, preventive medicine, geriatrics and pharmacy. In addition, we offer a rural medicine experience with a continuity clinic at our satellite family medicine center just outside of Erie.
