At Saint Vincent, we understand each woman has unique healthcare needs. That's why we offer compassionate and comprehensive care through our network of more than 100 obstetricians and gynecologists and hundreds of other specialists who work together to care for women.
We treat women through every life stage: prevention and wellness; labor and delivery services; advanced gynecologic surgeries, midlife care, and everything in between.
Our “Growing Hope” program is for women with an addiction to opiates who find out they are pregnant. We offer the only service in the region which assists with patient conversion to Subutex, follow up Centering Pregnancy classes, access to counselors, and access to housing via our collaboration with regional agencies.
We implemented the program in September of 2016 and have had six graduates of the program. These moms were able to remain committed and ultimately able to take their baby home.
Saint Vincent Hospital features a Level III NICU with a 21 bed capacity. Our NICU nursing team are some of the most experienced in the region.
We also have a NICU transport team that goes out to facilities via ground or air to places such as Warren, Bradford, and Jamestown. Locally, the NICU transport team services Millcreek Community Hospital to bring neonates and their moms to Saint Vincent Hospital for higher levels of care.
