AARP Safe Driver Program Two-Day

Course Description

The PriorityCare program at Allegheny Valley Hospital (AVH) is offering the two-day option AARP Smart Driver Program on

  • Monday & Wednesday, January 28 and 30
  • Monday & Tuesday, March 11 and 12

from 9am-1pm at Allegheny Valley Hospital, 1301 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights, Charles W. Young Conference Center.

Proof of AARP membership, if applicable, is needed to qualify for a reduced class fee.

The AARP Smart Driver Program is the nation's first and largest refresher course for drivers age 50 and older and has helped millions of drivers to remain safe on today's roads for over 25 years.

Learn how to adjust your driving to allow for normal age-related physical changes and reduce your traffic violations, crashes, and chances for injuries. Graduates may qualify for a state mandated multi-year discount on auto insurance.

FEE: $15.00 per person for AARP members with proof of membership or $20.00 for non-members (checks payable to AARP). Current PA driver's license required to attend. Class size is limited, so reservations are required; please call 412-330-4469 or 1-877-284-2000, option 2.
