Course Description
During this course, expectant parents are instructed in the care of a newborn infant, using dolls in a hands-on skills lab to practice before their baby arrives. During this confidence-building course, topics covered include bathing, swaddling/soothing, diapering, taking the baby's temperature, and signs of illness.

Cancellation
Jefferson Hospital reserves the right to cancel a class at any time. If it is necessary for us to cancel classes, you will be contacted. If you have any questions or need to cancel, please call 412.469.7100.
Refund Policy
Refunds are granted in cases of premature delivery or medical complications. A letter from your Obstetrician, explaining the reason for the refund, must be submitted with your request. Refunds are pro-rated to reimburse only those classes not attended. A refund for non-medical reasons must be requested at least 3 weeks prior to the start of the class. Refunds for any reason are subject to a $10 processing fee.
