Applications to our residency program should be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service® (ERAS®). A physician selection committee reviews and considers all completed applications that are submitted no later than the beginning of November. After careful review of the applications, the selection committee offers invitations to interview to the most qualified applicants.
The interviewing physicians will meet multiple times for reassessments of candidates and to develop a rank list. The final rank list is submitted to the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). Programs are notified in mid-March if the program filled their positions. If there are unfilled positions, we would participate in the supplemental offer and acceptance program (SOAP) to fill all positions.
