Wednesday, November 27, 2019
JEFFERSON HILLS, Pa -- Jefferson Hospital, part of Allegheny Health Network (AHN), kicks off the holiday season in style with a night of carols, cocoa, cookies, and, of course, Santa Claus himself. Holiday music will be provided by students from the West Jefferson Hills School District and guests are invited to explore the hospital’s ‘holiday market’ featuring homemade baked goods, chocolates, jewelry, flowers and other festive gift ideas.
Mary Phan-Gruber and Charles Modispacher of The Jefferson Regional Foundation will do the honors of officially “flipping the switch” at 6:15 p.m.
The event marks the fourth year that the hospital’s main lobby will feature a Christmas tree adorned with ornaments received from Jefferson’s local communities, and the 40th year of presenting the Giving Tree which benefits the local charities.
