The spirit of giving will hit the airwaves during the2019 Saint Vincent Children’s Miracle Network’s (CMN) 4th annual Classy 100 Radiothon on December 12, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Sam’s Club.
Holiday shoppers and those tuned into Classy 100 can call in to donate to CMN, which funds important initiatives for Saint Vincent Hospital’s tiniest patients. They can also donate in person at Sam’s Club, and enter to win in a basket raffle.
As an incentive, Classy 100 will present a series prizes for donors. The prizes are donated by area vendors and supporters.
CMN’s new “Miracle Maker” gift enables donors to give $10 a month for the next 12 months to CMN.
Donors can give by calling 814-860-7983 or texting the word “svmiracles” to 51555.
“The holiday season is a time of the year when people count their blessings and give to others, which is why CMN holds its Radiothon every December,” said CMN Director, Ashley Ross. “We are very grateful to Classy 100 and Sam’s Club for partnering with us to present Radiothon so that Saint Vincent can provide the highest level of care to every child, regardless of the family’s ability to pay.”
Ross noted that CMN has funded everything from the most advanced incubators for premature infants to the recent renovation of the Saint Vincent pediatric unit.
“It’s very important to our donors to know that the money they give stays right here in our community, at Erie’s first and oldest hospital, helping the infants and children who need care,” she said.
