CORE Elves Deliver Holiday Cheer to Allegheny General Hospital Patients

CORE volunteers and transplant recipients to deliver care packages at Allegheny General Hospital

WHO:
Center for Organ Recovery & Education and Allegheny Health Network

WHAT:
The holiday season can be a  challenging time for patients who are waiting for a life-saving transplant or dealing with related health issues. To bring holiday cheer to these patients, a merry band of volunteers from the Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE) will deliver care packages to Allegheny General Hospital patients waiting for the gift of life. CORE elves will include Ezra Hildebrand, a kidney/pancreas recipient, Melanie Lingenfelter, a liver recipient, and Craig Smith, a heart recipient.
