Saint Vincent Officials Hold Topping Off Ceremony for AHN Health + Wellness Pavilion East Side

Wednesday, July 11, 2018

Officials from Saint Vincent Hospital, part of the Allegheny Health Network,  joined community leaders, builders and construction crews on July 9 for a topping off ceremony for  the new Allegheny Health Network Health + Wellness Pavilion East Side, located at 4950 Buffalo Road in Harborcreek Township.

The AHN Health + Wellness Pavilion East Side will bring together for area residents comprehensive Saint Vincent services in one convenient location, including primary care, specialty care for cardiology, orthopaedics, dermatology  and podiatry, as well as an urgent care center, rehabilitation, occupational medicine and laboratory services.

Advanced diagnostic imaging services will also be offered at the new facility, including 3D digital tomosynthesis mammography, state-of the-art CT technology, general and orthopaedic X-rays, DEXA scanning for bone density testing, and general, cardiac and vascular ultrasound.

Construction on the 30,000 square-foot Pavilion began in March, with an expected completion in early 2019.

“We are very excited to see the new AHN Health + Wellness Pavilion East Side taking shape so quickly,” said Chris Clark, DO, MHA, President of Saint Vincent Hospital. “And we believe residents of the eastern corridor of Erie County will be equally excited in 2019, when they are able to take advantage of a comprehensive range of high quality health care services very close to home.”

The Health + Wellness Pavilion East Side will be AHN’s fifth such facility. Other pavilions include one on Erie’s west side and others are located in the Wexford, Bethel Park and Peters Township communities close to Pittsburgh.

The Health + Wellness Pavilion East Side is being developed in conjunction with Saint Vincent by The Westminster Group Companies and West Ridge Medical Partners, LLC.

The facility is being built adjacent to the Saint Vincent Urgent Care Center East, which opened in 1998 and annually treats more than 11,800 patients annually, as well as Saint Vincent East Harbor Primary Care, which treats more than 5,100 patients each year.
