CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA – Cancer survivors from throughout western Pennsylvania and surrounding areas are invited to Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Cancer Institute’s “Healing Journey,” a morning of fellowship, celebration and education set for Saturday, Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Cranberry Township.

An uplifting celebration of survivorship, the morning’s events include inspirational talks by cancer survivors, updates on new, advanced cancer therapies, prizes and exhibits and demonstrations on topics including Reiki and pet therapy.

The event is free to any cancer survivor and their guest, with breakfast, lunch and parking provided.

“Whether they are faced with a new diagnosis of cancer, or have lived with cancer for many years, cancer survivors need and deserve to know that they are not alone, and that a community of caregivers and fellow survivors stand behind them in their fight,” said David Bartlett, MD, Chair, AHN Cancer Institute. “We invite all who have fought or are fighting cancer to join with us on this ‘Healing Journey’ of hope and inspiration.”
