Allegheny Health Network (AHN) patients may be unsure about which doctors or hospitals their insurance will cover in the future. And, as always, we want to make it easy for you and your family to get the care you need. We want to help address any health care related needs and help assist with transition of care. We are concerned about your care and want to make sure you get the care you deserve.

What is the consent decree that I keep hearing about?

The Supreme Court recently made a decision to separate services between Highmark and UPMC, that ends June 2019.

As someone who visits AHN, should I have concerns?

We have a team in place to address any health care needs or concerns they may have with the changes. Some members are finding one or more of the doctors they see may not be covered in the future. AHN can address any health care related needs, assist with transition of care or any scheduling needs you may have. We are concerned about your care and want you to be aware to allow for time to transition care if needed and no lapse in care.

Why choose the AHN care team?

All of your doctors are under one roof, they can work closely together for a quality health care plan specific for you. All of your records are together- ease of sharing information (less repeated questions, no need to bring medical records back and forth). Ease of appointment scheduling. And AHN brings doctor expertise together- Including unique collaborative partnerships. AHN and John Hopkins clinical trials.
