Lisa Guthrie, DO

Lisa Guthrie, DO, is a board-certified internal medicine physician offering comprehensive and compassionate primary medical care. Her clinical interests are preventive care, annual wellness exams, and management of chronic conditions.

Dr. Guthrie earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and performed her residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh.

Dr. Guthrie has been practicing medicine for more than 14 years as a staff physician and most recently as a primary care physician in Cranberry Township.

Scott Vargo, MD

Scott Vargo, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Temple University School of Medicine. He is also Director of the Center for Perioperative Medicine at the Allegheny Health Network.

Dr. Vargo earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh and received his medical degree from Hahnemann University where he earned several scholarships for his clinical performance. He completed his residency and chief residency in internal medicine at Allegheny General Hospital. He practices Internal Medicine with Pittsburgh General Medicine Associates. His special interests include perioperative consultation, diabetes, heart failure and cardiac risk reduction as well as primary care, orthopaedics and sports medicine.

Dr. Vargo is a member of the American College of Physicians and a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Vargo is very active in residency education and has received numerous teaching awards including the Claude R. Joyner Award for excellence in teaching.

Sonia Dhawan , MD

Sonia Dhawan, MD, completed her medical education in India from the Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. Thereafter, she completed her Internship and Residency training in Internal Medicine from the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Dhawan has been a practicing internist for the past fifteen years. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, perioperative medicine, travel medicine and cardiovascular risk reduction.

Dr. Dhawan is actively involved in teaching medical students and internal medicine residents at Allegheny General Hospital. She has been a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine since 1999.
