Primary care sports medicine at AHN: Why choose us?

Our sports medicine specialists completed additional training (fellowships) in caring for sports injuries. This level of expertise helps us get to the bottom of troublesome symptoms, including pain that comes and goes. You have access to the full range of nonsurgical treatments, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy injections. Find out more about injections.

We help most patients get better without surgery. For severe sports injuries, you have access to AHN’s orthopaedic surgeons. Our team includes nationally recognized experts in hand, foot, and spine problems. Read more about our orthopaedic specialties.

Our sports medicine physicians work with you to find the treatment options that best meet your needs. If you need physical therapy or surgery, our providers work closely to fine-tune your treatment, so you can focus on making your comeback. Learn more about orthopaedic and sports injury treatments.

Expert concussion care at AHN

A concussion is a mild form of brain injury. Some symptoms, such as headaches and dizziness, may linger long after the final buzzer. We are one of the few programs in western Pennsylvania where you receive care from a sports medicine physician and physical therapist in one visit. We quickly get to the source of stubborn symptoms and connect you with treatments, such as vestibular therapy, that bring much-needed relief. Read more about our Concussion Center.
