Allegheny Health Network Sports Medicine works with The Chill Project by AHN for student athletes by providing virtual support services for athletes and families. We help participants optimize athletic performance and physical health through achieving mental wellness.
With the help of The Chill Project, we teach student athletes skillsets that enhance their performance and help them deal with unexpected barriers. We help athletes develop mindfulness and relaxation techniques, as well as evidence-based cognitive skills. These skills assist athletes in meeting their full potential physically and mentally.
Our sports behavioral health counselors and consultants can work one-on-one with student athletes, or with a small group or team. Sessions and treatments can focus on any number of areas, based on your needs. Focus areas include:
Athletes can be referred by a parent, school, care provider, or athletic trainer. If over 14, athletes can also self-refer. Call (412) 650-1146 to reach The Chill Project by AHN.
