Don’t live with pain
Chronic neck or back pain is not something you have to live with. At the AHN Spine Center, our experts are able to locate the source of your pain. We can provide treatments to ease or reduce your discomfort.
Our team approach is a personalized program that best suits your needs and lifestyle. Our board-certified specialists work together to relieve your pain. Depending on your situation, your care team could include specialists from these areas:
- Specialists in internal medicine and physical medicine
- Physical therapists
Non-surgical treatments at AHN include the following:
Acupuncture uses extremely thin needles at strategic points on your body to relieve chronic pain.
Epidural steroid injection treats irritated nerves in your spine. The drugs used may temporarily reduce inflammation and help relieve pain.
Lumbar sympathetic block is an injection of local anesthesia around the group of nerves in the lower back.
Provocative discogram is a diagnostic X-ray test that determines whether a patient feels pain when the pressure is increased in a disc.
Radiofrequency denervation involves placing extremely thin needles through the skin above your spine to use radio waves on specific nerves. This procedure temporarily interferes with the nerves’ ability to transmit pain.
Therapeutic caudal nerve block involves injecting anti-inflammatory medicine near a specific nerve or group of nerves where you are experiencing pain.
