Direct Access to Physical Therapists
The Allegheny Health Network physical therapists at the Allegheny Sports Complex at Cool Springs and at the Wexford Health + Wellness Pavilion are Direct Access Certified. This means that patients can see the physical therapists without a physician’s script/referral for up to 30 days, with visits still being covered under insurance. Direct Access can save the patient time by getting their injury evaluated in a timely fashion and triaged to an AHN physician faster if necessary.
