Gynecologic Oncology at Saint Vincent Hospital

Saint Vincent offers women affected by gynecologic cancers treatment options right here, and close to home. The gynecologic oncology program at Saint Vincent offers access to the most advanced treatment and care management options for women with reproductive cancer including breast, ovarian, cervical and endometrial cancers.

Gynecologic Oncology integrates radiation and chemotherapy with pelvic surgery to provide total care for gynecologic oncology patients. Minimally invasive surgical techniques are used whenever possible, utilizing the da vinci® surgical system.

Fredric V. Price, MD, specializes in the area of surgical gynecologic oncology, including surgical and medical management of cervical, ovarian and uterine cancer. He also performs minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries along with providing follow-up care.

Dr. Price is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology and Hospice/Palliative Medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed his residency at Magee Women’s Hospital of UPMC. He completed a fellowship in his specialty at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Thomas Krivak, MD, specializes in the area of surgical gynecologic oncology, including surgical and medical management of cervical, ovarian and uterine cancer. He also performs minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries along with providing follow-up care. Dr. Krivak is also involved in the design and management of gynecologic oncology clinical trials.

Dr. Krivak is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He earned his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his residency at the David Grant USAF Medical Center. Dr. Krivak completed a fellowship in his specialty at the National Cancer Institute, Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Both Drs. Price and Krivak are affiliated with the Allegheny Health Network. To allow patients to be treated in Erie, they augment available services and perform surgeries at Saint Vincent Hospital.
