Application Information

Applicants for the Gynecologic Oncology fellowship must meet the following educational qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency program.
  • Graduates of medical schools outside of the United States or Canada must have a valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). 
  • At the time of entry into the fellowship program, all applicants will be board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology under the auspices of ABOG.

All applicants will be expected to complete the application process through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) (http://www.aamc.org/eras). Guidelines for submission can be found on the ERAS website. Our programs’ ERAS number for application is 2254122008. We have selected fellows for Aug 1, 2023 and Aug 1, 2024 and will accept our first fellow through the match process for August 1, 2025. The following documents should be included with the application:

  • Current Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement
  • Three Letters of recommendation
    • Gyn Onc SLOE to be completed by gynecologic oncologist (or group) at your institution
    • Program Director SLOE to be completed by your PD
    • Another letter of your choice (away rotation, mentor, gynecologic oncologist etc.)
  • Medical School Transcript 
  • USMLE Scores
  • CREOG Scores
  • Recent Photograph

The deadline for all application materials is Monday April 1, 2024. Applications
will not be considered complete until each of the above-listed documents has
been submitted electronically via ERAS. All eligible, completed applications
will be reviewed by faculty members and invitations for interview will be sent
out on Monday April 29, 2024.

The gynecologic oncology fellowship program will participate in the national match program that is administered by the National Resident Matching Program starting in 2025.
