I've come to feel that many of my co-residents, attendings, nurses, techs, and so on are extensions of my family and I couldn't have imagined picking any other residency to train at. On top of that, the amount of learning you are able to do, to the liberty you are given to take ownership of the ED is astounding, and definitely something unique I have noticed when compared to other training institutions both as a medical student and even now as I do away rotations at outside facilities.
