Outpatient Burn Clinic at West Penn

Burn care specialists at the West Penn Outpatient Burn Clinic evaluate and treat all types of burn injuries. We also care for nonhealing wounds, skin injuries, and serious skin diseases. When needed, we can connect you with resources to help you cope with issues that can arise from a traumatic burn injury.

Outpatient burn care at West Penn

Our dedicated team of burn care specialists develop individualized treatment plans to promote fast healing and recovery. People with severe burn injuries receive inpatient care at the West Penn Burn Center.

Experts at the West Penn Outpatient Burn Clinic treat:

  • Minor and major burns
  • Chemical and electrical burns
  • Infected wounds
  • Nonhealing wounds
  • Friction or abrasion injuries, such as road rash and degloving injuries
  • Frostbite
  • Scars
  • Serious skin disorders, including toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) and Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS)

Clinic hours and location

The Outpatient Burn Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. We’re on the second floor of West Penn Hospital’s North Tower in suite N2307 near the inpatient burn center.
