Pediatric Immunology at AHN

When your child has an immune system disorder or symptoms like allergies, asthma, or eczema, a pediatric immunologist can help.

Pediatric immunologists at AHN evaluate and treat conditions like:

  • Allergies.
  • Asthma.
  • Autoimmune diseases.
  • Immunodeficiencies.
  • Recurrent infections.

We work closely with your child’s pediatrician and other pediatric specialists when necessary to provide comprehensive care for immune system conditions.

Find an AHN Pediatric immunologist who can understand what’s causing your child’s allergy, asthma or other immunologic condition — and can help them feel better.

Pediatric immunology services

Pediatric immunologists at AHN focus on diagnosing, treating, and managing immune system conditions in children. We work to find the cause or trigger for your child’s illness or symptoms and provide preventive care or various treatments to make symptoms less frequent and strong.

At AHN, our pediatric immunologists can support you and your child with:

  • Diagnosis. If you suspect your child has an immune system condition, we look closely at their medical history and do a physical exam and testing to find what might be causing their symptoms.
  • Treatment. Once your child has a diagnosis, we create a personalized treatment plan tailored to their specific needs. This may include prescribing medications like immunosuppressants, immune modulators, or allergy medications. Your child’s treatment plan may also include lifestyle or diet changes to help manage symptoms and keep their immune system functioning.
  • Immunization. When your child is immunocompromised, we may recommend adjusting the timing and administration of vaccines to keep them well-protected against various infectious diseases.
  • Condition management. We specialize in managing immune system conditions, including food allergies, drug allergies, and respiratory allergies like asthma. We’ll help identify allergens through testing and customize treatment plans to help you and your child manage their condition.
