Graduates of our Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship complete training as highly skilled Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologists, equipped to provide expert perioperative care for patients with complex cardiac and thoracic disease. They are successful in securing competitive academic and private practice positions across the country, with a number of graduates continuing their careers with us at Allegheny General Hospital. Our fellowship prepares graduates to serve as leaders in clinical care, education, and research. Our fellows consistently achieve certification in advanced perioperative transesophageal echocardiography and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of cardiothoracic anesthesia through scholarship, innovation, and excellence in patient care.
