Obesity Medicine and Clinical Nutrition Fellowship Application Information

Eligibility Requirements

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• US citizenship or permanent residency/green card holder
• PA State medical license and DEA, which must be obtained in advance of start date

Application process

• Complete the OMFC Standard Application
• Gather your Documents:
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement (including description of career plans)
  • Transcripts of National Board Exams
  • Recent Photo
• Contact the 3 people who will write letters of recommendation and tell them where to send the letters. It is preferred that the letters come from the writer directly. Letters of recommendation should come from:
  • Your most recent residency/fellowship program director
  • A recent supervisor other than your residency/fellowship program director
  • A clinical supervisor who can attest to your abilities
