Burn Surgery Fellowship Research

Fellows are encouraged to participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and program development projects throughout the fellowship year.

Areas of ongoing academic interest include:

• Burn reconstruction
• Scar modulation and laser therapy
• Burn critical care
• Functional outcomes after burn injury
• Rehabilitation and recovery pathways
• Quality improvement in burn care delivery

Opportunities are available for presentation at regional and national meetings, including the American Burn Association annual meeting.
