Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Application Information

Thank you for your interest in our Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship at Allegheny Health Network!

The PCCM Fellowship Program at Allegheny General Hospital participates in the NRMP Medical Specialties Matching Program (Program code program code 1648156F0).

Applicants must have completed a three-year internal medicine residency in an accredited United States or Canadian residency program.

To apply to our program please complete an application through the  Electronic Residency Application Service® (ERAS®) in July.

Though we are electing to use program signals as part of our holistic review process, please know that a program signal does not guarantee an interview.  Invitations for virtual interviews are distributed via Thalamus. All interviews will be conducted virtually.

Completed application includes:

  1. ERAS application
  2. Personal statement
  3. USMLE/COMLEX certified transcript – All steps
  4. Three letters of recommendation including one from your Internal Medicine Residency Program Director and at least one letter from within the PCCM specialty.
  5. Visa Requirements: The program accepts applicants with J-1 visa and Permanent Resident (Green Card) status. Allegheny General Hospital does not sponsor applicants with H1B visa status.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact Sharon Mastele, Fellowship Coordinator.
