eVisits Offer Efficient Nonemergency Care

Describe your symptoms and medical history on our electronic questionnaire. Then an AHN provider will review them and provide a treatment plan.

A flexible, convenient option to get a diagnosis and treatment

Do you have a non-urgent medical condition? Do you need more than just an answer to a question? An eVisit allows you to communicate with your doctor online and get help without going to the office.

The process is simple. You’ll fill out a questionnaire that covers your symptoms, medical history, and additional important information. One of our providers will review your submission and respond with a diagnosis and treatment recommendation.

Here are some examples of symptoms that can be addressed through an e-visit:

  • Coronavirus symptoms
  • Sinus problems
  • Urinary problems

Log in to your MyChart account to get started. Don’t have an account? No problem. Sign up for MyChart and schedule an e-visit.

REQUEST E-VISIT ON MYCHART

What to expect during an e-visit

It’s important to remember that an eVisit isn’t a conversation. It’s a questionnaire-based exchange between you and one of our AHN telemedicine providers. This service can be used for select non-emergent health issues instead of calling your doctor’s office and scheduling an appointment. The process is simple. You’ll answer a few questions, an AHN provider will review and get back to you with a diagnosis and/or treatment recommendation — typically within two to four hours.+

Please note: Based on the answers you provide in the questionnaire, your provider may determine that your condition needs to be examined more closely. If that should happen, they’ll contact you immediately and advise you to seek treatment from an in-person provider or the closest emergency department. If you do not receive a response, or your symptoms get worse, please call your doctor’s office. Medications will only be ordered if your doctor feels it is medically necessary.
