The Center for Wound Healing at AHN Grove City: Why choose us?

Our staff provides exceptional care and uses proven, best-practice interventions to help you make a full recovery. After a thorough health assessment, we’ll develop an individualized plan to facilitate the healing process. We also collaborate with other specialties to ensure a comprehensive approach to wound healing.

Our wound care team is made up of certified specialists, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists. We use a wide variety of advanced treatments to aid in healing and recovery from skin and tissue damaging injuries like:

  • Venous and arterial ulcers (poor circulation, or “bad veins”)
  • Neuropathic wounds (related to diabetes)
  • Trauma and burns
  • Surgical wounds
  • Pressure injuries

Specialized wound care

Non-healing wounds (wounds that linger, recur, or worsen) should be treated as soon as possible to avoid infection or other complications. We offer many treatment options to care for wounds, including:

  • Debridement (removal of damaged tissue or foreign objects)
  • MIST (uses ultrasound technology to deliver sound wave therapy to the wound and is particularly effective in stimulating healing and decreasing pain)
  • Total contact casting
  • Multilayer compression wraps
  • Living skin substitutes
  • Negative pressure wound therapy (wound VAC)
  • Electrical stimulation
  • Direct ultrasound
