Allegheny Health Network Outpatient Center in New Kensington Set to Close

PITTSBURGH, PA – (April 5, 2021) – Allegheny Health Network’s Outpatient Center located in the former Citizen’s Hospital at 651 4th Avenue in New Kensington will close on May 11, 2021, network officials announced today.
The laboratory, medical imaging and cardiology services offered at the facility occupied a very small portion of the building. AHN is currently exploring options for a smaller, more suitable nearby site for these services. In the meantime, patients are encouraged to visit Allegheny Valley Hospital or AHN’s Harmar Neighborhood Hospital for their health and medical needs.
Patients can schedule medical imaging services and cardiology services at AVH by calling 724-226-7300 and AVH’s laboratory services are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
