If you’re looking for additional information on Coronavirus — from booking your vaccine to knowing the symptoms — AHN has you covered.
While we’ve seen many patients fight off Coronavirus and feel like themselves again, this is unfortunately not always the case.
Of the more than 28 million American diagnosed with COVID-19, it’s estimated that as many as 8.4 million fall into the category commonly known as “long haulers.”*
Whether these long-term side effects are physical ones, like lung or heart concerns, or more psychological ones, such as post-traumatic stress disorder, AHN is fully equipped to help patients find the solutions they need to recover and start to feel like themselves again.
Led by AHN's Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care — and based out of the Breathing Disorders Center at the AHN Wexford Health + Wellness Pavilion — the Post-COVID-19 Recovery Clinic connects patients to clinicians who can diagnose symptoms, develop personalized treatment plans, and ease their concerns.
The long-term effects of Coronavirus are different for each individual. They can present physically, mentally, or emotionally. Regardless of how you may be feeling — know that AHN is here to help you find solutions.
Symptoms may include, but are not limited to:

Unfortunately, yes. Anyone who was diagnosed with Coronavirus, regardless of the person’s age, gender, or race, could experience long-term side effects.
No. While many symptoms are physical, the emotional and mental toll of Coronavirus can be just as damaging. Post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and anxiety are common behavioral health conditions we treat.
Coronavirus affects each person differently, and the more people we see, the more we learn about these long-term health concerns. While many symptoms can be treated through therapies and medications, others may take some time to fully understand and manage.
The AHN Post-COVID-19 Recovery Clinic continues to accept new patients. Call (412) DOCTORS (412) 362-8677 or request an appointment to meet with our care team.
