Wound Clinic at Westfield Memorial

The Wound Clinic at Westfield Memorial Hospital focuses on the evaluation and treatment of chronic, difficult to heal wounds.

Wounds, in otherwise healthy individuals, usually heal uneventfully on their own. In patients with chronic, non-healing wounds, there is frequently an underlying health problem preventing the wound from healing in a natural fashion. Our experienced staff members can provide treatment plans to relieve pain, speed recovery and heal all types of wounds, including:

  • Pressure ulcers
  • Diabetic foot ulcers
  • Venous leg ulcers
  • Surgical wounds
  • Wounds caused by burns, infections, radiation treatment, cancer or edema

We work closely with you and stress the importance of keeping the wound clean, changing the dressing as directed and maintaining good nutrition.
