MyChart

MyChart is a secure, online way to connect to your health and your care team. The best part? You can access it anywhere, anytime.

The benefits and features of MyChart

In just a few simple clicks, there is so much you can do and access with your MyChart account. Sign up online to get started or download the MyChart app.

  • Make an appointment: Choose a date and time to see your AHN provider. Online scheduling is available 24/7.
  • Schedule a video visit: Too busy to go to the doctor? Try a video visit with one of our providers and get the care you need quicker.
  • E-check-in: We’ve taken the pain out of paperwork. Complete your e-check-in ahead of your visit.
  • See your doctor sooner: Want to move up your visit? Sign up to get a Fast Pass alert if an earlier appointment opens up.
  • Ask a question: Send and receive notes with your AHN provider through MyChart messaging.
  • Compare the wait: Use Find Care Now to see wait times at an AHN emergency department or urgent care — and let us know you’re on your way.
  • Review your health records: See your AHN health history and check test results and current medications.
  • Pay bills online: Pay for your out-of-pocket costs and read statements online with paperless billing.
  • Get prescription refills: Send a medication request to your doctor. When it’s approved, we’ll send it on to your pharmacy for a refill.

Signing up for a MyChart account

If you received an activation code from an AHN provider:

  1. Go to MyChart.
  2. Input your activation code, last four digits of your Social Security number, and birth date.
  3. From there, you’ll be asked to create your own username and password.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to log in for the first time.

If you did not receive an activation code, no problem. You can still sign up:

  1. Go to MyChart.
  2. Fill out the information on the screen, including your name, address, last four digits of your Social Security number, and birth date.
  3. From there, you’ll be asked to create your own username and password.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to log in for the first time.

Once you’ve created your account, use the same login information to sign in on the MyChart app.

What the Cures Act means for MyChart and you

The 21st Century Cures Act gives you more access to your digital medical records. That means if you already have a MyChart account, you’ll be able to view test results and clinical notes as soon as they become available.

While getting results sooner is nice, they’re usually easier to understand once you chat with your provider. To give your provider a little extra time to reach out, change your MyChart preferences to delay results by 7 days. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Log in to MyChart.
  2. Click Medical Tools.
  3. Click My Questionnaires.
  4. Select Delay of Results Release.
  5. Select I want to delay my results.
