Medical Frontiers

Medical Frontiers is an informational program sponsored and produced by the Allegheny Health Network.

The information featured on Medical Frontiers is solely intended to further the public's general knowledge of current developments in the field of medicine, and should not be relied upon as offering advice, diagnoses or opinions about any individual medical issue or treatment. Nothing should replace the relationship that you maintain with your personal physician.

Medical Frontiers airs Monday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Pittsburgh's CBS radio affiliate, KDKA-AM 1020. Hosted by retired Allegheny General Hospital orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Gerald Pifer, the show is a live production that features guests from across the spectrum of Allegheny Health Network's physician organization and allows listeners to call in with questions relative to the topic of the hour.
