AHN Saint Vincent Physician Recognized as “Everyday Hero” by the Pennsylvania Medical Society

Laura McIntosh, MD, a sports medicine and family physician at AHN Saint Vincent Hospital has been recognized by the Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) as an Everyday Hero Award winner for 2025.

AHN Saint Vincent Hospital officials gathered  today to present the award to Dr. McIntosh in the hospital’s Main Lobby of the hospital

PAMED’s Everyday Hero Award, launched in 2018, is designed to showcase exceptional physicians who go above and beyond in their profession and in providing outstanding patient care.

Dr. McIntosh is a Sports Medicine physician and Family Medicine doctor with the Allegheny Health Network (AHN) in Erie, PA. She earned her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh, completed residency at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh and fellowship at AHN Saint Vincent.  She is board certified by the  American Board of Family Medicine - Sports Medicine and theAmerican Board of Family Medicine - Family Medicine.
