About the Program

Our Pain Medicine Fellowship Program is a one-year multidisciplinary pain medicine program. Our educational program incorporates the ACGME core competencies throughout training for appropriate fellow growth and development in a dynamic and highly personalized interactive curriculum.

Our annual outpatient volume is more than 8600 patients and more than 2500 outpatient interventional procedures. Also, more than 1000 inpatients are seen annually and more than 80 device implantations are performed annually.

The program includes training in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, and Neurology at designated training sites, which include West Penn Hospital, Allegheny General Hospital, and UPMC-Mercy Hospital.
