Funds to Support AHN Oncology Research Fund and Wexford Hospital Cancer Patient Care Fund

PITTSBURGH, PA - Grant funds from Burns Scalo Real Estate help Allegheny Health Network (AHN) provide additional support as a catalyst corporate partner to the Oncology Research Fund at AHN Cancer Institute – Allegheny General, and the AHN Cancer Institute - Wexford Patient Care Fund.

Through support grants from philanthropic partners such as Burns Scalo Real Estate, the Cancer Institute at Allegheny General Hospital (AGH) is able to serve as a research hub for innovative cancer care at all of AHN, where patients receive the latest diagnostic and treatment services in one comprehensive, accessible location.

The Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute (AHNCI) has world-class oncology teams, experts in their specific types of cancer and national leaders in research, innovation, and treatment. The Cancer Institute has the only cancer program in the Pittsburgh region with Integrated Network Cancer Program accreditation by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, and its radiation oncology program is the largest in the country accredited by the American College of Radiology.
