APA accreditation

Training Focus: Generalist (Therapy and Assessment) Across the Lifespan

Training Dates: July 1st - June 30th

Training structure

  • Major rotation 3 days / week (6 months long, choose two)
  • Year-long minor rotation 1 day / week (possible two, separate 6-month rotations)
  • Year-long outpatient psychotherapy caseload of 4 – 6 patients (lifespan)
  • Year-long didactics and seminars

Major rotation options (each 6 months)

  • Center for Traumatic Stress for Children & Adolescents
  • Intensive Psychiatric Day Treatment
  • Neuropsychology

Minor rotation options

  • Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh:
    Consultation & Liaison (6 or 12 months)
  • Allegheny Health Network:
    Child Integrative Therapy (12 months)
  • Women’s Behavioral Health Program (6 or 12 months)
  • Neuropsychological Assessment in Dept. of Psychiatry (12 months)
  • Child and Adolescent Psychological Assessment - ADOS-2 specialization (6 or 12 months)
  • Adult Clinical Health Psychology (6 or 12 months)
