An AHN doctor talking with a patient sitting on the bed in a doctor's office.

Heritage Valley is now part of AHN.

The doctors, hospitals, and care teams you know and trust are still here. Now they're backed by a larger network with more specialists, more services, and more ways to connect you to the care you need.

Find the information you need

For now, your care team, their locations, and the way you access services will all stay the same. Over time, we'll be integrating systems and making investments in programs and facilities so your experience is even better. We'll keep you informed of any changes, and share how to access any new tools or services.

These quick links can connect you with the information or services you may be looking for. If you're having a medical emergency, call 911.

What this means for you

For now, many of the things that matter most won't change. You'll continue seeing the same doctors and care teams, visiting the same locations, and accessing care the same way you do today. We'll keep you informed every step of the way as new tools, services, and improvements are introduced.

Building on a trusted heritage

Heritage Valley has cared for families in Beaver, Sewickley, and the surrounding communities for generations. As part of AHN, that trusted local care is now supported by a larger network focused on keeping care close to home and connecting patients to additional specialists, care, and expertise when they need it.

What patients ask most

We've answered some common questions below. If you have specific questions about your personal care, make sure you talk with your established provider.

Will I still see my doctor?

Yes. Your doctors, nurses, and specialists aren't changing. You'll continue receiving care from the providers you know and trust.

Will I still use my local hospital?

Yes. Heritage Valley hospitals remain part of the communities they serve. Our goal is to keep high-quality care close to home while connecting patients to additional expertise when needed.

Will anything change about appointments?

No. You'll continue making appointments the same way you do today unless you're notified otherwise.

Will my insurance still be accepted?

Yes. Existing insurance coverage remains in effect. There have been no changes to the insurance plans accepted at Heritage Valley locations, and those plans will continue to be accepted. As always, we recommend checking with your health plan for questions about your specific coverage.

What happens to my medical records?

No action is required on your part. If future changes are made to patient records systems or online tools, we'll provide information and guidance well in advance.
