Access to healthcare for all
At Allegheny Health Network (AHN), we believe every person should have access to the high-quality, personalized care we offer across western Pennsylvania.
What is the Center for Inclusion Health?
Through our Center for Inclusion Health, we aim to provide outstanding health care to everyone. To meet that goal, we focus on three key areas:
Mental health, food and housing struggles, and substance abuse: These are all common issues behind why some people don’t receive the health care they need. We’ve developed programs, such as our healthy food center, to solve some of these challenges, helping people focus on their health more easily.
Training and education
We educate our providers about the complex cultural and health needs of groups of people who have traditionally faced barriers to getting high-quality health care. This helps people who face complex health issues receive coordinated and compassionate care across our network.
Our programs aim to improve patients’ health while decreasing health care costs. We regularly evaluate what’s working (and what’s not) to ensure we’re on the right track. Successful results mean we can continue our efforts to improve care for the people who sometimes need it most.
