We offer three graduate medical education programs in the neurosciences, all based in the Pittsburgh area.
Our Neurology Residency Program is 3 years long, starting with postgraduate year (PGY) 2 (PGY2-4).
Our Neurosurgery Residency Program is 7 years long (PGY1-7) and includes a full PGY of either research or advanced clinical practice, which may be taken as PGY6 or PGY7, with the other year being the chief resident year.
Our Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship Program prepares the physician who has successfully completed an ACGME-accredited residency in adult or pediatric neurology in an accredited U.S. or Canadian program to sit for the examination for the Added Qualification in Clinical Neurophysiology as well as for the ABEM examination.
