Kids ages 6 months and older are now eligible for COVID-19 vaccine. In June 2022, the FDA and CDC granted emergency use authorization for Pfizer-BioNTech and Modern vaccines in children ages 6 months to 5 years.

About the Graduate Medical Education Department


The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Medical Education Consortium offers excellent graduate medical education (GME) opportunities in the Pittsburgh and Erie regions of Pennsylvania.

In the Pittsburgh region, the GME programs are based at Allegheny General HospitalForbes Hospital, or West Penn Hospital, but they also include a rich spectrum of clinical opportunities at various AHN locations in the Pittsburgh region, including other hospitals, outpatient care centers, clinics, and physician practices.
