Allegheny Health Network Expands Otolaryngology Services to AHN Jefferson Hospital

JEFFERSON HILLS, Pa. (July 21, 2026) — Allegheny Health Network (AHN) today announced the opening of a new otolaryngology clinic at AHN Jefferson Hospital, expanding access to comprehensive ear, nose and throat (ENT) services for patients across Pittsburgh's South Hills and Mon Valley communities.

Otolaryngology is a medical specialty focused on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, head and neck. The new clinic provides evaluation and treatment for a wide range of conditions, including sinus and allergy-related disorders, hearing and balance issues, voice and swallowing concerns, ear infections and other common ENT conditions.

The clinic, located on the fifth floor of the AHN Jefferson Hospital Medical Office Building, is staffed by otolaryngologist Robert Archbold, DO, audiologist Karen Kamon, AuD, and advanced practice provider (APP) Leah Perrino, PA-C. In addition to comprehensive ENT care, the office offers audiology services, including hearing evaluations and hearing aid fittings and management.

"By bringing comprehensive ENT, audiology and hearing care services directly to Jefferson Hospital's campus, we're making it easier for patients in the South Hills region to receive expert care close to home."

AHN's nationally recognized otolaryngology program offers specialized care for complex hearing and balance disorders, speech and swallowing conditions, skull base disease, head and neck cancers, and reconstructive procedures.

Notably, AHN physicians utilize advanced technologies including surgical robotics to perform minimally invasive yet complex head and neck procedures with enhanced precision.

The program is also engaged in leading-edge clinical research, bringing innovative therapies and treatment approaches from the laboratory to the bedside.

Recently, AHN was designated a Multidisciplinary Team of Distinction by the North American Skull Base Society (NASBS), recognizing its collaborative, patient-centered approach to treating complex skull base conditions.

In addition to Jefferson, otolaryngology services are available throughout the region at AHN’s Allegheny General, Forbes and West Penn hospitals, as well as at the AHN Wexford Health + Wellness Pavilion and AHN’s outpatient office in Sewickley.
