About Our Providers

Rebecca J Caserio, MD​
Dr. Rebecca Caserio has been in practice for over thirty years in the Pittsburgh area. She attended the University of Pittsburgh and graduated summa cum laude. Medical school education was also at the University of Pittsburgh, where she graduated summa cum laude and Alpha Omega Alpha. She is double boarded in both dermatology and internal medicine and was chief medical resident for both programs at the University of Pittsburgh. For the past five years she has been selected to the Top Doctors in Pittsburgh Magazine. Clinically her interests are general medical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. This includes Botox injections, Fillers, and sclerotherapy of spider veins. She works closely with the aesthetic nurse to further direct adjunctive noninvasive cosmetic procedures.

Ronald F Maceyko, MD
Dr. Maceyko is a cum laude graduate of the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. He is board-certified in dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Maceyko evaluates and treats patients with skin cancer, as well as common conditions like acne, rosacea, dermatitis, and psoriasis. He has a special interest in autoimmune disorders and diseases that affect the mouth.

Charles Mount, MD
Dr. Mount is a graduate of West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia. He completed his internship at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Next, he served four years as a captain in the United States Air Force as a flight surgeon, deploying twice overseas and earning Air Force Commendation and Air medals. He then completed his dermatology residency training at Washington University in St Louis/Barnes-Jewish Hospital, serving as chief resident in his final year. Dr. Mount is board certified in dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Mount treats patients with skin cancer and common conditions such as acne, eczema, and, psoriasis. He has a special interest in treating patients with cutaneous lymphoma, rheumatologic diseases affecting the skin, and contact dermatitis.

Judith A Small, MD
Dr. Small is the Division head of Dermatology and has been practicing dermatology at Allegheny General Hospital for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Union College in Schenectady, NY and a graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine. She completed her dermatology training at the University of Maryland.

Dr. Small is board certified in dermatology. She is a general dermatologist who treats diseases of the hair, skin, and nails. She is also actively involved in teaching residents and committed to expanding dermatology services within Allegheny Health Network.

Nicole F Velez, MD
Dr. Nicole Vélez is a board certified dermatologist and American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude from Carnegie Mellon University and with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She then completed a combined internal medicine and dermatology residency at Harvard Medical School, and went on to complete a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology, cosmetic dermatology, and nail surgery in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.

Dr. Vélez is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, American College of Mohs Surgeons, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology. She has published over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and lectured both nationally and internationally on skin cancer.

Debra Boschele
Debra Boschele is a graduate of North Hills Passavant School of Nursing. She has experience in Emergency Medicine and Psychology and 17+years in Dermatology. She is an Esthetic Nurse and Medical Laser Safety Officer, certified in principles of Laser Physics and Laser Safety, and a member of Laser Institute of America for 12 + years. She performs cosmetic consults with personalized skin care recommendations for products and fillers, Botox, photo rejuvenation, laser hair removal, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion.

Heather Kerle, MPAS, PA-C
Heather Kerle is a graduate of the Franklin Pierce University Master of Physician Assistant program located in West Lebanon, NH. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is involved in the following societies: Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Kerle works under the direct supervision of Dr. Caserio, evaluating and treating patients with skin cancer, as well as, common conditions like acne, rosacea, dermatitis, and psoriasis.

Mary C Martini, MD
Dr. Martini completed her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed an internal medicine internship at Northwestern University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, and her dermatology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh.

Prior to joining AGH Dermatology, she practiced in Chicago and was an associate professor of dermatology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. She also served as the director of the Melanoma Program at the Skin Cancer Institute and director of the Pigmented Lesion and Melanoma Clinic at Northwestern University. She also served on the National Comprehensive Cancer network Melanoma panel for the past 10 years.

With more than 30 publications, Dr. Martini speaks nationally on melanoma and dermoscopy.

She is a member of American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Dermatology Foundation, American Contact Dermatology Society, Chicago Dermatologic Society, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and International Dermoscopy Society.
