Cancer screenings and eligibility
Based on your eligibility, you can schedule the following cancer screenings at no cost to you:
- Colorectal cancer: You can receive a noninvasive fecal immunochemical test (FIT) to screen your stool in privacy. You may be eligible for this screening if you're 45+ years old.
- Head and neck cancer: A clinician will feel for any lumps on your neck, lips, gums, and cheeks during this physical exam, and may also examine your nose, mouth, throat, and tongue for any abnormalities. You may be eligible for this screening if you're 18+ years old.
- Prostate cancer: Men 45+ can receive a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test. This measures the level of PSA — a substance made by the prostate — in your blood.
- Skin cancer: A clinician will provide a focused skin check — looking at moles, birthmarks, or any other marks that have an unusual color, size, shape, or texture. You may be eligible for skin cancer screening if you’re 18+ years old.
The S.T.O.P Cancer event is staffed by AHN expert clinicians who will provide these tests and review your results.
Our team can help you schedule any additional follow-up appointments, and all results will be visible to you directly in MyChart.
