In-kind donations

Your gifts help AHN provide compassionate care and a remarkable experience for the patients and visitors at our care facilities.

The AHN Volunteer Resources Department is able to accept in-kind donations of items for our patients and programs. You can find a list of items we need most below. We are grateful and appreciative of all donations.

Email the Volunteer Department at the facility where you’d like to donate prior to dropping off any items. We’ll schedule a time and date to accept your donation.

Items that can be donated

Your donated items have a profound positive impact on patients at AHN facilities, and we appreciate the role you play in helping provide a remarkable health care experience. Our patients benefit most from:

Word search, sudoku, crossword, or adult coloring books.
Novels, books, and journals.
Puzzles, playing cards, magazines, and games like checkers, chess, dominos, etc.
Reading glasses (all strengths).
Get-well cards or blank greeting cards.
Personal care items like lip balm, mini unscented hand lotion, slipper socks, or individually wrapped mints.
Fleece, crocheted, knit, or cotton hats, blankets, and shawls.
Cloth masks, port pillows, or personal pillows.
Fleece hats (winter), baseball caps, turbans, or
head scarves.
Art supplies like packs of construction paper, markers, crayons, drawing pencils, notebooks, packs of colored pencils, and pencil sharpeners.

Service projects

If you’re a student looking to complete a service project, contact your preferred location to learn about additional needs and ways to give back.

Monetary donations

If you’d like to make a monetary contribution, sponsor a program, or make a large donation, email the volunteer location where you wish to donate and we’ll connect you to the appropriate contact in the AHN Office of Development.
