Angela has a bachelor of science degree from Duquesne University and a master of public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University.
Angela has a long history of outstanding service with Allegheny Health Network. She brings her diverse experience, skills, and dedication to her current leadership role at Canonsburg Hospital. She also has extensive experience working with labor unions. Angela has been in the national spotlight as a leader of building effective labor management partnerships. She has co-presented with members of SEIU Healthcare Pennsylvania at national conferences highlighting the work she has done with front line staff to achieve excellence in patient care outcomes.
In 2009, Angela was named the region’s Cameos of Caring Award winner for the Advanced Practice Award Manager Focus. In the same year, Angela was one of 50 health care professionals selected to participate in a forum at the White House with newly elected President Barack Obama to discuss the health care bill from a nurse’s point of view.
