AHN Saint Vincent cuts ribbon for new OBGYN practice
AHN Saint Vincent today cut the ribbon on a brand new obstetrics and gynecology office, located in the Hardner Building on the hospital campus, at 2315 Myrtle Street, Suite G-30.
The AHN North Coast OBGYN practice is part of a continuing investment in women’s health services by Allegheny Health Network and Highmark Health since 2017.
The 3,428 square-foot practice, a $1.6 million investment, features eight exam rooms, a treatment room for ultrasound and other procedures, workspaces for physicians and nurses, and the practice manager, a reception area, staff lounge, two ADA bathrooms, and a comfortable waiting area.
“This beautiful new facility enhances the comprehensive outpatient care for women that is now available for AHN Saint Vincent patients under one roof, said Dr. Chris Clark, President of AHN Saint Vincent..” This includes breast cancer screening and surgical services, lymphedema treatment and therapy, gynecologic oncology, OBGYN services, reproductive genetics, maternal/fetal medicine, urogynecology, physical rehabilitation services for women, and a behavioral health program specifically designed for women.
Providers at the new practice include Ellen Hancox, MD, Jessica Culbertson, DO, and certified nurse midwives Lisa Cone, DNP, CRNP, and Mary Sehn, CMN.
“Over the past several years, Highmark Health and AHN have made significant investments in new women’s health facilities that have greatly expanded the scope of advanced services we can offer to women in the greater Erie region,” said Marcia Klein-Patel, MD, Chair of AHN’s Women’s Institute. “But far beyond bricks and mortar, these investments enable our teams to provide the highest level of expertise and compassionate care for women and their families … close to home.”
