24/7 Virtual Urgent Care

With video visits from AHN, you can access urgent care at home or on the go. Get help 24/7 on your computer, phone, or tablet.

Get urgent care through a video visit.

With urgent care video visits, you can talk to an AHN provider about your symptoms and concerns from the convenience of home. You’ll receive quality care in minutes.

Urgent care video visits are available to anyone, including pediatric patients. You can schedule a video visit if you’re experiencing:

  • Cold, flu, or COVID-19 concerns.
  • Sinus problems.
  • Back pain.
  • Diarrhea or constipation.
  • Vaginal irritation.
  • Allergies.
  • Rashes.
  • UTIs.
  • Eye irritation.
  • Minor sprains.

Note: This is not a visit with your primary care physician (PCP). You will see an available physician or other licensed provider.

Scheduling a pediatric urgent care video visit

First, you’ll need proxy access to the child’s account. Log in to your MyChart account, click the Profile tab, then My Family Access. Follow the instructions based on the child’s age. Once you have access, log in to the child’s account to schedule the visit. For children under 13, a parent or guardian must be present for the visit.

Prepare for your urgent care video visit.

You can have your urgent care virtual visit on your phone, tablet, or PC — it’s up to you. If your personal computer is a Mac, we recommend using a mobile device instead.

Check your hardware in advance.

For the best connection, use the MyChart app on your phone or tablet; it’s compatible with Apple and Android devices. We also recommend connecting over Wi-Fi and closing all other apps. Don’t forget to double-check that your camera and microphone are working.

Helpful tips for your video visit

  • Make sure you're in a quiet location.
  • Write down questions before your visit.
  • Make a list of any prescription and over-the-counter medications you take regularly.
  • Keep a pencil and paper handy to write down notes and care instructions during your visit.
  • Review your health insurance information to see what you’ll pay out of pocket for care. Many plans provide coverage similar to an in-person urgent care visit.**
