COVID-19 Vaccine

Kids ages 6 months and older are now eligible for COVID-19 vaccine. In June 2022, the FDA and CDC granted emergency use authorization for Pfizer-BioNTech and Modern vaccines in children ages 6 months to 5 years.

Application Information

Applications are accepted through Electronic Residency Application Service® (ERAS®) only. The deadline for applying is November first of the year before desired start of the program. Saint Vincent Emergency Medicine participates in the NRMP (National Resident Matching Program) to fill all PGY-1 positions.

The completed application should include:

  • USMLE Step I board scores, or COMLEX Part I board scores, Step II or Part II should be available at the time of interview
  • Minimum two letters of recommendation with at least one in Emergency Medicine
  • Official medical school transcript
  • Dean’s letter
  • Personal Statement

Foreign Medical Graduates

In addition to above, please also include:

  • Copy of your ECFMG certificate
  • Copies of all ECFMG/FMGEMS/FLEX scores

Interviews

Interviews for application to the Emergency Medicine Residency are by invitation only and occur from November through February.
